We were established in 1972 as the Periodical‎ Publishers Exchange (PPE). Our mission then as it is today is to help our members grow and thrive in a fast changing environment. In 2006, we changed our name to the Independent Publishers Association of Ontario (IPAO) to reflect the changes in our organization and to modernize our brand. Our mission is to help our members grow their businesses through networking, the exchange of best practices and save costs through group purchases. We meet once a month, from September to June, to share innovative ideas and expertise, and hear from guest speakers.
